Man found dead, woman shot in Virginia Beach

Police found a dead man who they are calling a suspect and a woman suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound early Saturday morning in a neighborhood off of North Landing Road in Virginia Beach.

Police were called at 5:36 a.m., for a domestic dispute in the 2700 block of Alameda Drive.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, according to the police.

Police are not seeking any other suspects, and the case is under investigation by the department’s Homicide Unit.
