Man found down near Jack in the Box killed in hit-and-run crash

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities on Thursday revealed more details about a body that was found near a Jack in the Box in the Tierrasanta neighborhood.

The victim, identified as a 52-year-old man, was killed in a hit-and-run crash, Office D. O’Brien with the San Diego Police Department said in a news release.

Around 12:24 p.m., officers found the man lying in the exit lane of a parking lot at 10791 Tierrasanta Blvd., according to authorities. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the man was run over by an unknown vehicle that left the location following the collision. There is no vehicle or driver description available at this time.
