Man found shot in AutoZone parking lot

SAN DIEGO — A 39-year-old man was found shot in the parking lot of an AutoZone in the Colinas Del Sol neighborhood Friday night, authorities said.

The San Diego Police Department received a radio call reporting shots fired in the 5000 block of El Cajon Boulevard at 8:37 p.m.

Responding officers located the man in the automotive store’s parking lot with a gunshot wound to his left thigh, SDPD explained. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, the victim did not provide any information about what had happened. There is no suspect information available at this time.
