A Man Gave Meghan Markle a Huge Bouquet of Flowers & Prince Harry Candidly Responded
Prince Harry is A-OK when fans give his wife, Meghan Markle, a teddy bear or a single rose, but he isn’t afraid to step in when someone crosses the line.
That’s exactly what happened on the first day of the Australian royal tour. While passing a crowd of onlookers, a security guard directed the couple toward an excited man, who was waving a massive bouquet of flowers.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex approached him, Prince Harry said, “You can’t give flowers that big to my wife. What’s that all about?” The prince proceeded to shake the man’s hand before giving him a thumbs up.
As it turns out, the man is Matt de Groot, a co-host of Australia’s Fitzy and Wippa. And yes, he filmed the bit for his radio show.
We have no doubt Prince Harry will be stepping up his game in the near future.
