Man gunned down on Brooklyn street: NYPD
A gunman fatally shot a man on a Brooklyn street Friday night, police said.
Victim Winston Chee, 38, was on Albemarle Road near E. 21st St. in Flatbush about 8:20 p.m. when at least one shot was fired.
Chee was hit in the torso and rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
It was not immediately clear if Chee was targeted or if he was an innocent bystander when the shots were fired.
The gunman ran off. No arrests have been made.
Chee lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant, about three miles from where he was fatally shot, cops said.
Cops on Saturday scoured the area looking for surveillance footage that could help them identify the gunman.
