Man and Horse 'Stirrup' Some Laughs as They Ride Through UK Filling Station

A man rode a horse through a filling station forecourt in Thames Ditton, Surrey, on September 28, as a long line of cars waited for petrol amid a fuel delivery crisis in the UK.

Gus Lee-Dolphin filmed his antics near his home in the area, before posting the footage to his Instagram. Speaking to Storyful, he said it was his first time riding a horse.

The UK’s Road Haulage Association has said a shortage of truck drivers has meant disruption to supply chains in a number of areas.

UK Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said on September 29 that the fuel situation had “begun to improve” and that the government’s reserve tanker fleet would “be on the road this afternoon to boost deliveries of fuel to forecourts across Britain.” Credit: Gus Lee-Dolphin via Storyful
