Man hospitalized after being stabbed at Marathon gas station; 3rd stabbing in a week

The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a stabbing that hospitalized a man with non-life-threatening injuries Sunday night.

The man was interviewed by police soon after he checked into a local hospital and said he was stabbed at a Marathon gas station, 4209 Crawfordville Road, around 9:30 p.m.

"It is unknown at this time whether the suspect and the victim are known to each other," read a TPD incident analysis, adding: "The victim became uncooperative as the investigation continued."

There are no suspects at this time and no arrests have been made.

Last Tuesday, a man who was "missing" from the Apalachee Center stabbed another man four times at a Tallahassee Books-A-Million.

John McFarland, 41, was arrested on a charge of attempted murder. The victim survived his injuries.

The same day, police said a man was stabbed by another man while he was walking in the 800 block of Wadsworth Street.

No one has been arrested in connection with this stabbing.
