Man hospitalized in single-car wreck on Cobb Parkway
Jan. 9—A man was hospitalized Sunday night after crashing into a tree off Cobb Parkway in Marietta, police announced.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, the man, who has not been identified, was driving a white Nissan Altima north on Cobb Parkway near its intersection with Progressive Way. The car left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and seriously injured, police said. After being extricated from the car, he was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
