Man injured after car flips on Lake Michigan Drive in Robinson Township

ROBINSON TWP. — Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a single-car crash on Saturday, Aug. 13, in Robinson Township.

Investigation showed a 2007 Honda Civic, driven by a 57-year-old Grant man, was traveling westbound on Lake Michigan Drive when it moved toward the shoulder to avoid oncoming traffic that was passing in its lane.

The vehicle hit standing water and the driver lost control, and the car rolled over several times. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
