Man injured as firefighters battle blaze in home with heavy clutter

Firefighters rushed to the scene where they encountered large amounts of clutter throughout different levels of the home.

- A two-alarm fire in Greenpoint, Brooklyn left one man hurt. Flames broke out on the second floor of the building on North Henry Street right around 10:00 AM. Firefighters rushed to the scene where they encountered large amounts of clutter throughout different levels of the home. Eyewitnesses say the flames poured out of the windows.

WES ZAMORA: And the smoke was everywhere at that time. And so I walked across the street to take a look. And flames were coming off. The fire trucks were already in line here getting the ladders up there. It was pretty intense, pretty crazy.

- Neighbors tell Eyewitness News the victim is a man who lives alone. No word tonight on what sparked that fire.
