Man injured in shooting at East Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was injured in a shooting Friday at an apartment complex in East Nashville.

Metro police said the shooting happened just before 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19 in the 1100 block of Litton Avenue near Gallatin Pike.

According to police, the man was shot in the abdomen while he was on the balcony of one of the apartments. He was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center and is listed as stable.

Investigators said at least one suspect has been detained. Detectives believe the suspect(s) left the area after the shooting, but later returned to the apartment complex for reasons unknown at this time.
