Man involved in Henderson barricade identified, police say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police have identified the person they say is responsible for a Friday barricade in Henderson.

Police identified Jared Busch, 29, as the person involved in Friday’s barricade in the 4900 block of Andover Drive near Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway in Henderson. It was there that police say Busch refused to comply with police barricaded himself. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials were also involved in the incident with air, patrol, and K9 units assisting Henderson law enforcement.

Police say Busch was later taken into custody without incident.

Busch faces a litany of charges, including three counts of failing to stop at the scene of a crash with vehicle damage and one count each of reckless driving, failing to obey traffic control devices, disobeying a peace officer, driving the wrong on a one-way road, robbery, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, obstructing a public officer with a false statement, and trespassing.

Busch was booked into the Henderson Detention Center at the time and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
