Man killed in Farmington crash identified

New York State Police have identified Cole Estey, 35, of Clifton Springs, as the man who died in a car crash on Feb. 10.

The crash occurred on Shortsville Road in Farmington, west of County Road 28. Troopers said Estey's vehicle left the road and struck a tree. When police arrived at the scene just before 2 p.m., they found the car fully engulfed in flames.

Estey was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
