Man killed, woman seriously hurt in Harwood crash, police say

A 28-year-old Georgia man is dead after a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in southern Anne Arundel County, according to police.

Anne Arundel County Police said in a news release that Justin Christopher Dabolish, of Brookhaven, Georgia, died at the scene of the crash at about 12:30 p.m. on Muddy Creek Road in Harwood. He had been the passenger in a car driven by a 27-year-old woman who was hospitalized with serious injuries.

The Chester woman had been driving a 2001 Honda Civic that investigators believe crossed the yellow line near Mill Swamp Road before being struck by a Ford pickup truck carrying a trailer, according to police. She was in critical but stable condition, police said Saturday evening.

The driver of the Ford, a 28-year-old Annapolis man, and his passenger, a 37-year-old man, were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
