Man killed in workplace accident at Tuscumbia business

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A man was found dead at a Tuscumbia business after he was killed in a workplace accident.

Dispatchers received a call from a business on Highway 20 just before 5 p.m. Thursday reporting a “traumatic injury,” according to the Muscle Shoals Police Department.

When officers arrived they found a dead man in the warehouse portion of the business.

After gathering evidence, MSPD said detectives and officers determined that the man had be killed in a workplace accident.

The police department stated that out of respect for the man’s family, no more information will be released.
