A man being sought in connection with a missing Pennsylvania girl has been wanted in Hamilton County for more than six months for violating his probation in a local case involving a sexual relationship with a teen girl, court records show.

Pennsylvania State Police say Jaret Wright, 22, is believed to be with 16-year-old Emily High, who was reported missing on May 15 from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Wright stood trial last year in Hamilton County on rape charges after he lived for three weeks in a 15-year-old girl's bedroom in College Hill without her family knowing. It was a nonjury trial in front of a judge, but before Common Pleas Judge Jennifer Branch issued a verdict, Wright pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition and a child pornography charge − both low-level felonies.

In June 2022, Branch sentenced Wright to three years of probation. As part of his sentence, he was first supposed to complete treatment at a lockdown facility in Warren County, Talbert House – Turtle Creek Center, which offers services including sex offender treatment, job education and corrective thinking.

Within weeks of being sentenced, an arrest warrant was issued because Wright hadn't yet completed the treatment. He was arrested on July 14, 2022.

Then three months later, Hamilton County court records show, another warrant for Wright's arrest was issued. Probation officials said Wright "did not enter or complete" treatment at Turtle Creek Center.

"The defendant went AWOL on 10/17/22," the documents say. The arrest warrant was issued the same day.

Wright has been accused by his own family members of seeking to have sexual relationships with younger girls.

His biological mother has previously told The Enquirer that when he was 18 and living in Florida, he met a 15-year-old girl on social media and was going to her house. She said the girl's parents got a restraining order against him and he eventually moved back to Ohio.

And just days before Wright took a Greyhound to Cincinnati and moved into the College Hill girl’s basement bedroom in February 2021, he was arrested in the Akron area after police found him hiding in his uncle’s basement.

Wright's uncle told The Enquirer that Wright broke into the basement because he was trying to have a sexual relationship with a teenage cousin.

Wright faces up to 4½ years in prison for violating his probation in Hamilton County.
