“I eat three to four times as much as a growing boy would eat,” says Dustin. At 6 feet tall, the 33-year-old restaurant cook says he weighs right around 120 lbs. and has been caught in a cycle of binging and purging since he was 17. Dustin’s mother, Melissa, says he’s now at the beginning of kidney failure, and she fears he may die. Dustin insists he’s sick of being bulimic, but “To be honest, I’ve been doing it so long, I don’t know what to do.” “It’s serious enough to do something about,” says Dustin’s brother, Josh, in the video above. “You’ve got to want the help first."
