Man makes own sandwich at Subway after demanding workers feed him, Ohio police say

A man in Ohio took matters into his own hands after demanding to be fed at a Subway restaurant, police say.

Workers said that Don Peters, 44, was visibly drunk when he entered an Akron Subway at roughly 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, Cleveland.com reported. Police said he was belligerent and demanded that workers make him some food, according to the outlet.

After damaging some plastic barriers inside the restaurant, Peters allegedly got behind the counter and proceeded to make himself a sandwich, WEWS reported.

When officers arrived and arrested Peters, they found a bottle of vodka along with a block of Subway cheese in his pockets, according to WJW.

Peters is charged with “disorderly conduct, open container and criminal damaging,” the outlet reported.

No one was reported injured in the incident, according to Cleveland.com

Peters was taken to Summit County jail, WEWS reported, but he is no longer listed on the facility’s roster.
