“For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health—just keep your mitts off my chocolate.” Those might just be the vows that 29-year-old Dave Williams of Wales makes when he marries his fiancee, Stacey Lowe.

The couple’s kitchen conflict has gone viral thanks to Lowe’s Facebook post, a photograph of their refrigerator that Williams has added a safe for his chocolate to. Her caption reads: “So this is what it has come too [sic]! You buy a house together, have a child together, get engaged, are planning a wedding and doing your house up and this happens! Dave goes and buys a f**kin fridge safe because he's an arsehole and doesn't want to share his chocolate with me anymore! Anyone want him? Surely this is breakup material right?! Prick!”

"We are both foodies but I can't resist chocolate,” Lowe told The Sun, according to Fox News. The mom of one explained that she’s known among family and friends for being a chocaholic, and has resorted to picking through Williams’s stash when her own is gone. Williams’s solution was to buy the Lockabox for his precious sweets. It should be noted that the Lockabox safe is clear — if you have a sweet tooth, you can feel Lowe’s pain.“I laughed at first, but then told him it's like torture because I can see what is in there," Lowe explained to The Sun.

“It’s like showing me what I can’t have. He’s saying he’s going to get another one for the cupboard now for his crisps and sweets.”Lowe says she posted about the safe because she knew her family and friends would get a kick out of it, and was surprised that the Facebook vent went viral.

Maybe because we can all relate to the horror of having your candy source cut off! Tellingly, many commenters asked where Williams got the safe — it seems that chocolate fans around the world are planning on protecting their own collections, since apparently the bond of marriage does not extend to creamy milk chocolate, gooey caramel, or fluffy nougat.
