Man shot at Bolingbrook barbershop
A man was shot Friday afternoon at a barbershop in Bolingbrook, police said.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting at Starz Cuttery, 299 S. Schmidt Road, at 2:30 p.m. and when they arrived they found a man who was shot, Bolingbrook police said in a statement.
The assailant fled the scene in a vehicle and the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound, according to the statement.
Police said there is no immediate danger to the public, and asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
