Man shot, killed outside Fresno bar
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is dead after he was shot in Fresno early Sunday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police say just before 2 a.m. they responded to the northeast corner of Shaw and Marks Avenues after receiving calls regarding a victim of a shooting outside a bar.
Upon arrival, responding officers reported a man believed to be in his 30s suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Investigators say he was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries where he was eventually pronounced deceased.
Detectives report they are actively working to identify a suspect.
