Man who ‘sprayed anti-Semitic graffiti’ on MP’s office sought by police
A man accused of spraying anti-Semitic graffiti on a Labour MP’s office is being hunted by police.
Investigators have released an image of the suspect, captured on CCTV, after Feryal Clark’s office in Enfield, north London, was vandalised at just after 11pm on Nov 21.
In the image, the suspect has his hood up and is wearing a blue face mask.
Pc Louis Blackburne-Maze, who is leading the investigation said: “This was a racially aggravated crime. There is no place for hate in London, and it’s important that everyone feels safe on our streets.
“We are very keen to speak to this man, so if you know who he is or have any other information that could help, we encourage you to get in touch with police.”
Anti-Semitic crime in the UK has risen sharply amid the conflict in Gaza, with more than 1,000 incidents logged by the Community Security Trust, the Jewish charity, since Hamas’s Oct 7 attack on Israel.
