Man stabbed to death in Bronx driveway

A 35-year-old man was found stabbed to death in the driveway of a Bronx home Friday, police said.

Police were called to the address on E. 227th St. near Barnes Ave. in Wakefield just before 7 p.m. where they found the lifeless victim with wounds to his neck and back.

Two men chased the victim from Barnes Ave. to the driveway of the two-family home where he was stabbed and left for dead, police sources said.

“They chased him from around the corner. When I came out, he was lying behind the gate in the driveway,” said a neighbor who asked not to be named. “He was all stabbed up, bleeding all over the ground.”

Medics took the victim to Montefiore Medical Center, but he couldn’t be saved.

Police had not made any arrests by late Friday, and the victim’s name was not immediately released.
