Man suffers 'serious' injuries in south Tallahassee stabbing

The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Friday morning in south Tallahassee.

Police arrived at the scene at Polk Drive and Meridian Street just before noon and encountered an adult male who had a stab wound in his abdomen, which TPD described as a "serious" injury. He was transported to a local hospital.

"Preliminary information indicates a physical altercation occurred between the victim and another individual," the synopsis stated.

As of Friday evening, no arrests had been made.

This stabbing comes less than two weeks after a duo of stabbings happened less than 24 hours apart on June 20 and June 21.
