Man Suspected Of Intentionally Lighting 2 Wildland Fires In South Lake Tahoe

A man suspected of setting two wildland fires in South Lake Tahoe has been arrested, police say.

- A man has been arrested after police say he intentionally set two fires overnight in South Lake Tahoe. The fires were reported within minutes of each other in a wild land area on El Tahoe Boulevard and Pioneer Trail. Police say they found Isaac Escalara trying to hide in some brush near the second fire. They say Escalara is homeless and had just recently moved to the area.
