Man taken into custody in connection to sexual assault in Prince William County

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Prince William County Police said they have arrested a man in connection to a sexual assault that happened on Feb. 27.

On Feb. 26 at about 7:50 a.m., police responded to a home in the Woodbridge area to investigate a sexual assault.

Officers learned that a woman woke up to a man coming into her room with a knife. She was able to get away from the man and call the police with the help of a neighbor.

Concern over fuel spill could lead to lawsuit in Jefferson County

The man fled in a car with New Jersey license plates.

Officers determined the man was renting the basement in the same home as the woman.

He was identified as 42-year-old Alexander Maximiliano Soto Hernandez.

He was found and taken into custody in North Plainfield Borough, N.J.
