Man threatens Havre de Grace officer, rams car into station, police say

A man is in custody after threatening to attack Havre de Grace police officers and then ramming his vehicle into the police station. Police said a man called the police around 9:40 p.m. Sunday, threatening to kill a police officer. Police identified the suspect as Timothy Joel Jackson Kahl, 28. Based on information obtained in the phone call, it was believed that Kahl was in the area of his house. Police said they are familiar with Kahl. According to neighbors, he sometimes acts out, but not violently. Police dispatched units to Kahl's neighborhood, where officers found him in the 400 block of Village Drive.
