- A man under arrest for the attempted murder of a police officer was arrested earlier this week in North Wildwood for receiving stolen property. Whitemarsh township police officer, Matthew Stadulis, was responding to a call Wednesday morning about a man checking door handles. The officer walked up to the man, identified as Reynaldo Figueroa-Ardon. Investigators say that he drew his gun, pointed it at the officer's head, and pulled the trigger three times. Incredibly, that gun didn't fire. Figueroa's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 24.
