Man wanted in Norfolk shooting that killed man, injured 65-year-old woman

Police are searching for a 25-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting in Norfolk Tuesday that left a 37-year-old man dead and a 65-year-old woman injured.

Norfolk police charged Rhodean H. Hamlin, 25, with second-degree murder, malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm, police announced Friday. Hamlin is accused of fatally shooting Sidney N. Parker, 37, and a 65-year-old woman in the 3500 block of Mangrove Avenue Tuesday night.

The 65-year-old woman’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
