Man, woman drive themselves to Hopewell hospital after being shot Sunday morning: Police

HOPEWELL — Police are investigating the shooting of a man and woman early Sunday morning.

Shots were reported fired around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of South 15th Avenue. As officers were responding to the scene, they were told that the reported victims drove themselves to the emergency room at John Randolph Medical Center.

Police said the unidentified victims are expected to recover.

Neither a motive nor suspect information was disclosed. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
