Man and woman used fake $100 bills at downtown SLO businesses. Do you know them?
The San Luis Obispo Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying two people suspected of using counterfeit $100 bills at downtown San Luis Obispo businesses.
A man and a woman are suspected of using the fake money to pay for food at Bliss Cafe on July 5, the department said on Twitter.
A second business in the 700 block of Higuera Street later identified a counterfeit $100 bill spent at the store on the same day, the department said in another post to Twitter.
A photo provided by the store’s owner shows the suspect is the same woman who allegedly used the counterfeit bill at Bliss Cafe, the department said in the post.
If you are able to identify either suspect, call Community Service Officer Kauth at 805-594-8067.
