Manasquan High School Employee Tests Positive For COVID-19

MANASQUAN – A Manasquan High School employee has received a positive COVID-19 test result, officials announced this weekend.

The employee was last in the building Friday, Dec. 4th, Superintendent Frank Kasyan said.

While confidentiality restrictions prevent the schools from sharing additional details, the district engaged in contact tracing upon notification of the positive test results, Kasyan said.

Any close contacts of the employee have been identified, notified and are now in a mandatory quarantine, he said.

According to the district's restart and recovery plan, students will continue to be notified of any positive COVID-19 cases for staff or students that occur as the schools move forward.

These notifications will come via email to the school community and postings on the website.
