Manchester Arena bomber’s family found to hold ‘significant responsibility’ for radicalisation

The Manchester Arena Inquiry has found that the family of the bomber hold “significant responsibility” for his radicalisation.

Sir John Saunders revealed the findings of the final report on the suicide attack which killed 22 people at a 2017 Ariana Grande concert.

He highlighted the “extremist views” of Salman Abedi’s parents and their “participation in the struggle in Libya,” which presumably involved fighting, he added.

Sir Saunders chaired the public inquiry into the bombing.
