Manchester High School in lockdown for bomb threat

Oct. 27—MANCHESTER — Manchester High School is under a lockdown now after school officials received a bomb threat.

In a message to parents and families issued at 10:15 a.m., school officials said law enforcement is currently on-site, and students and staff are secured within classrooms.

Seniors who are currently off campus are advised to remain home.

Officials said police are investigating the situation to determine if there is a connection between the threat and various threats to other Connecticut schools made last week.

School officials said they would release updates when additional information is available.
