Manchester, NH Pride event temporarily evacuated to investigate suspicious vehicle

A Pride event in Manchester, N.H. was temporarily halted Saturday morning while police investigated a suspicious vehicle.

Police evacuated the Queen City Pride Festival around 8:35 a.m. The response was prompted by an explosives detection K9 who alerted on a car parked at Arms Park.

New Hampshire State Police responded to the scene and the vehicle was found to be safe.

The area had reopened by 10:30 a.m., according to police.
