MANHATTAN, IL — Manhattan residents can tune into a parade from their own front windows as emergency vehicles plan to drive through town Thursday. The village of Manhattan, Manhattan fire, police and the emergency management agency will bring the Manhattan Strong parade through town starting at 11 a.m. Thursday.

The village said the parade will start at Wilson Creek school and move west to east through town.

"We encourage everyone to decorate their windows and doors, make posters, put out your American flags and wear your Manhattan school pride shirts," the village said on Facebook.
