Manhunt underway in Wellston for wanted felon
LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – Lincoln County officials said that a manhunt for a wanted felon began Saturday afternoon near Wellston.
Officials said that they are searching for 40-year-old Billie Dean Roberts who is wanted in connection with a residential burglary.
Roberts is described as being 5’11” and around 160 pounds. He was said to be last seen wearing a black hoodie and a piece of carpet.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that the manhunt was happening in the area between 3290 Road (County Line Road), SH-66, and 900 Road.
If you see Roberts officials warn you to not approach him but instead call 911.
