Manitowoc man shot and killed in Las Vegas strip resort The Mirage; suspect arrested

A Manitowoc man was shot and killed Thursday at a popular Las Vegas strip resort.

The victim was identified as 49-year-old Aucturius DeWayne Milner Sr., according to the Clark County, Nevada, Coroner's Office.

He died Thursday of multiple gunshot wounds in a room at the Mirage Hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Mirage, one of the most prominent hotel, casino and entertainment venues on the strip, was placed on lockdown as police responded to the shooting.

A press release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Friday said two other female victims were injured in the shooting and were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Police arrested a 54-year-old man Friday morning. According to the press release, the suspect is related to the Manitowoc man who died and the two were involved in an argument inside the hotel room Thursday night. During the argument, the suspect shot the three victims and fled the area, according to police.
