Mankato woman hurt after she drives into a pole

Oct. 28—MANKATO — A 21-year-old Mankato woman suffered injuries Friday night in a one-car vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 22 and Hoffman Road.

Kiana Elizabeth Samora was driving a 2016 Mazda CX-3 southbound on Highway 22 when it crashed into a semaphore pole at Hoffman, according to the State Patrol. Samora was hospitalized at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries, the patrol said.

The alcohol-related crash was reported at 8:13 p.m. Friday and road conditions were dry, the patrol said.
