Manor ISD to host career fair amid ongoing teacher vacancies

MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — Amid ongoing teacher vacancies districtwide, the Manor Independent School District announced Monday plans to host a district career fair next month.

The Manor ISD Career Fair will run on March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manor New Tech Middle School, located at 12116 Joyce Turner Drive. Officials said the event is designed to connect with prospective teachers and to help minimize existing vacancies impacting school operations, per the release.

“These vacancies pose significant challenges to our ability to provide the high-quality education that our students deserve,” the release read, adding: “We are committed to filling these vacancies with passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our students.”
