Jul. 3—A man taking a shower at his residence on Vinson Highway in Baldwin County was interrupted by the sound of gunshots.

Neither the man nor his aunt, who happened to be in another room at the time of the apparent drive-by shooting, were injured.

As of last Friday, no one had been arrested in connection with the shooting.

The crime happened June 15, shortly before 7:30 p.m., according to an incident report filed by Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Deputy Kelli Goss.

The deputy said the man told her he heard three to four gunshots while he was taking a shower.

After getting out of the shower, he said he looked around and discovered a bullet hole through a living room window.

The man said his aunt also was home at the time of the crime.

The woman said she was in her room watching videos on her cell phone when he her heard one to two gunshots.

Goss said the living room is located on left side of the residence. It faces Thomspon Street.

"I observed one hole in the single pane window," Goss said in her report. "The hole was approximately three inches in diameter."

The deputy said she took photographs of the damaged window and broken glass found on the floor.
