Many area churches celebrate on Christmas Eve

Many area churches will celebrate with services on Christmas Eve Sunday.

Some of the Branch County churches with special services include:

St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church, 602 West Chicago, Bronson, will hold a Children's Mass on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m., a Spanish Christmas Mass at 6 p.m., and a Christmas Mass at 10 p.m. On Monday, Christmas Day, Mass will be at 9 a.m.

Bronson United Methodist Church, 312 E. Chicago. Instead of regular morning worship on Christmas Eve, Bronson UMC will only have a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 5 p.m.

Lockwood Community Church, 202 East Lockwood Road, with Christmas Eve on a Sunday, the church will have a Candlelight service at 6 p.m. There is a combined morning service at 10 a.m.

Bethel-Gilead Community Church, 876 Block Road, will hold a Christmas Eve service on Sunday Christmas Eve at 9:30 a.m.

Batavia Community Church, 247 N. Batavia Road, has a Christmas service at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Coldwater United Methodist Church, 26 Marshall St., will hold Christmas Eve services at 10 a.m., 5 p.m., and 9 p.m.

Northview Christian Church, 539 N Union City Road, Coldwater, holds Christmas Eve services at 10:30 a.m. with a 7 p.m. Candlelight Communion Service.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 27 E. Chicago St., Coldwater, will hold a Christmas Eve services at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Coldwater First Presbyterian Church, 52 Marshall St., will hold its Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 95 West State St., Coldwater, will hold Christmas Eve services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and candlelight services at 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 150 Taylor St., Coldwater, will hold Christmas Eve a Children's Mass at 4 p.m. and Christmas Mass at 10 p.m. On Monday, Christmas Day, Mass is at 9 a.m.

The Refuge Coffee House, 13 East Chicago, Quincy. If you are looking for a place of fellowship on Christmas Eve, they will watch The Chosen Christmas episode at the Refuge and worship together at 7 p.m.

Union Church, 8 Fulton St., Quincy, will hold Christmas services on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.
