How many COVID-19 cases have been reported in your Columbus-area school district?

The new school year is underway, and students and staff members are testing positive for COVID-19.

As of March 10, the Ohio Department of Health no longer asks schools to report positive cases of COVID-19 to local health departments, unless the school has actually tested the student. Quarantine and isolation guidelines remain the same.

Previously, ODH recorded new and cumulative COVID-19 cases that were reported to schools by parents, guardians and staff members for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Individual schools were required to report COVID-19 cases to their local health department which then reports the cases to the state health department.

Cases involve full- and part-time students and staff members — including teachers, administrators, support staff and coaches.

The Ohio Department of Health updates its list every Thursday. The cases are reported by cumulative cases for the year and new infections in the most recent week, which is defined as the previous Monday through Sunday.

Listed here are all public school districts in Franklin County and its six contiguous counties (Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Madison, Pickaway and Union):
