How much snow did North Jersey get?
North Jersey got a blast of winter weather, courtesy of a nor'easter that traveled up the coast.
Starting Friday night and continuing through Saturday, the Shore was hit hard, but North Jersey got its fair share of snow as well. North Jersey was expected to see as much as eight inches of snow in some areas. Much of northwest New Jersey appears to have been spared the brunt of the storm, judging by the latest totals as of Saturday evening, but the northeast part of the state got a bit more.
The snow was expected to end for the entire region by about 6 p.m. as the storm moved off to the northeast.
Behind the storm will be cold weather and wind. Temperatures will dip into the single digits across northern New Jersey and wind chill factors are expected to drop below zero.
