MAP: Here’s the latest forecast track of Tropical Storm Elsa

Tropical Storm Elsa is forecast to track just off the west coast of Florida during the day on Tuesday, and could strengthen back into a hurricane ahead of a potential landfall somewhere between Sarasota and the Panhandle, according to the National Hurricane Center. The track is expected to bring storm surge, heavy rain and damaging winds all along the coast, regardless of where Elsa makes landfall. Tropical storm warnings and hurricane watches are in effect for the entire west coast of the state. Here’s the latest forecast track, along with the “spaghetti models,” which show the tracks predicted by various computer models to generate the forecast cone.
