MAP: Here’s the latest forecast tracks of Tropical Depression 18, Peter and Rose

Tropical Depression 18 formed in the eastern Atlantic Ocean and is expected to become a major hurricane by early next week.

Tropical Depression Peter and Tropical Depression Rose, the season’s 16th and 17th named storms, are fighting a losing battle against upper-level winds and cooler water temperatures, which hinder storm development and support a weakening trend, forecasters said.
