Northern Kentucky has a new brunch spot.

Maple Street Biscuit Co. opened its first Northern Kentucky location in Florence at 6785 Houston Road, Suite 400, on Monday.

The Florida-based breakfast chain offers a range of biscuit sandwiches, including the Squawking Goat, which combines battered chicken strips, goat cheese and pepper jelly. It was even featured on the Food Network. Maple Street Biscuit Co. also sells biscuits and gravy, waffles, mimosas and other breakfast dishes.

Customers who visit the store Monday can get free iced cinnamon biscuits, as well as T-shirts, stickers and mugs, while supplies last. According to its website, the restaurant is open every day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. purchased Maple Street Biscuit Co. in 2019 for $36 million. The chain has over 50 locations in the United States, including a store in Columbus and Lexington, Kentucky. The Florence location is the first in the Greater Cincinnati area.
