When is March Madness? Here are the dates for men's and women's NCAA tournaments

While the NFL is wrapping up football this weekend with Super bowl 58, the NCAA is about to heat up.

March Madness starts on Sunday, March 17, for selections. The NCAA Selection Committee will announce the full tournament brackets, teams, seeds and the regions in which they will be playing.

The men's bracket is revealed at 6 p.m. followed by the the women's bracket at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

When does the men’s NCAA Tournament start?

  • First four: March 19-20

  • First round: March 21-22

  • Second round: March 23-24

  • Sweet 16: March 28-29

  • Elite eight: March 30-31

  • Final four: April 6

When does the women’s NCAA Tournament start?

  • First four: March 20-21

  • First round: March 22-23

  • Second round: March 24-25

  • Sweet 16: March 29-30

  • Elite eight: March 31-April 1

  • Final four: April 5

When are the NCAA championship games?

The men's championship game is on Monday, April 8 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Game time to be announced.

The women's championship game is at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, on ABC, hosted at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
