Mardi Gras celebrated in Palestine with Mystics of Time Krewe

PALESTINE, Texas (KETK) – Over in Palestine they celebrated Mardi Gras with a parade hosted by the Mystics of Time Krewe on Saturday.

10th annual Mardi Gras gumbo cook-off held in Henderson

The parade started at the Anderson County Courthouse and partied all the way down to Palestine’s visitor center.

“Have fun and to let the good times roll,” said the queen of the Mystics of Time Krewe “to do something for the community as far as a parade goes for kids and family and just have fun in general.”

This is the 14th year of the parade bringing the spirit of New Orleans to Palestine and East Texas.
