Maren Morris Is Pregnant With Her First Child and She's Glowing

It’s the year of the “GIRL” for Maren Morris, but she and husband Ryan Hurd are expecting a son.

The “My Church” singer, 29, announced her pregnancy in October, with a sweet photo revealing her bump. “The irony is just too rich that after living in the “GIRL” headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out,” she wrote. “See you in 2020 little one.”

This will be Maren and 33-year-old Ryan’s first child, and he’s expected to join their family in late March 2020, according to a post on Ryan’s Twitter. Maren also confirmed his arrival time with a second picture from her maternity shoot, which read, “Got another Aries in the mix. Uh oh.”

Though both country stars have shared lighthearted social media updates—Ryan even hilariously wrote “MY BOYS CAN SWIM” on his announcement—it seems both are over-the-moon about having the news out in the open.

“We are very blessed and I feel like every month we have something to celebrate but keeping that one a secret was really hard,” Ryan said in a tweet. “Can’t wait to have a kid to play with.”

Ryan and Maren met in 2013 and were married in 2018 in a laid-back Nashville ceremony. The “Bones” and “To a T” singers have been in wedding bliss ever since. Their professional lives have been just as successful, as Maren is nominated for a whopping six awards at the 2019 CMAs, including Album of the Year.
